Individual Therapy

What can I expect from therapy with Hummingbird?

Individual therapy is a one-on-one service between a therapist and the person seeking therapy. 

I use a strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy, meaning in our sessions we will work together to determine what you personally want to gain from this process, what support you need, and what strengths you already have that might help you meet your goals.

A variety of issues might be addressed in individual therapy. I have special interest in working with the following:

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Stress Management

  • Life Transitions

  • Attachment and Relationships

  • Communication Skills

  • Faith/Spirituality

Therapeutic Approach

K.C. Wolfe is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University and has been practicing as a therapist in the state of Tennessee since 2014. K.C.’s approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. She tailors sessions to fit the needs of the individual and often uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness based practices. K.C. is also Prepare/Enrich certified. She is passionate about helping people identify their deepest values and live in a way that upholds them, supporting them in seasons of change and growth, and helping them to build and foster healthy relationships.
